Amydrium Medium Silver Variegated Tissue Culture
This culture pack includes 1 Amydrium Medium Silver Variegated tissue culture. It comes in agar gel and is ready to acclimate to its new jungle.
The Amydrium Medium Silver Variegated is a striking tropical rarity that bridges the look of a Monstera and a Philodendron — but with a metallic twist. Its arrow-shaped leaves shimmer with silver-blue tones and creamy variegation, creating a cool, futuristic texture that stands out in any collection.
This species loves to climb and rewards growers with beautifully fenestrated leaves as it matures. Under the right conditions, the variegation becomes more pronounced — splashes, streaks, and marbling of white and silver that shift with each new leaf. It thrives in bright, indirect light and high humidity, where its silvery glow truly shines.

Watch our step-by-step video instructions on our How To Acclimate Your Tissue Culture blog!
- Step 1- Do not do anything to the culture for 1-2 days to allow them to adjust to the temperature in their new environment
- Step 2- Open the package & wash the agar jelly off the plant as thoroughly as possible. We strongly recommend using running water. A small paint brush can be gently used to assist with the cleaning process. This is one of the most important steps of the process.
- Step 3- Plant your cultures in the medium of your choice. We recommend a chunky blend of coco husk & perlite. We utilize acclimation plugs although there are many great mediums available.
- Step 4- Place them into a clear sealed package (container or plastic bag). Within 24-hours your container will have water droplets forming, which will confirm the container is at 100% humidity.
- Step 5-Place under a grow lights for between 8 & 14 hours a day
- Step 6- Leave plants covered for the first 7 days. The following 7 to 10 days slowly expose plants to ambient air. Each day exposing the plants to slightly more air until fully acclimated.
Our acclimation kits will contain all of the tools necessary for success. Just add water & grow lights to the simple acclimation process to produce healthy acclimated plants!
*These instructions are a BRIEF overview of the acclimation process. Completing thorough research prior to purchasing a tissue culture is important. The customer must provide proper acclimation to the tissue culture. We are happy to help answer any questions you may have in regards to the process of acclimating plants.
Orange Lake Nursery will not accept liability for mishaps during the acclimation process. The acclimation process will vary from location to location. Acclimation can depend on the environment, medium used, and many other factors By purchasing this product, you agree to these terms*
